🌿 Natural materials 🎨 Safe water-based paints 🇫🇷 Artisanal design 🧠 Educational & Fun
The busy board, also called an activity board or manipulative board, is much more than a simple wooden toy. It is a complete educational support which brings together everyday objects (locks, zippers, gears, laces) to allow the child to explore them in complete safety. Inspired by the work of Maria Montessori, our table promotes experiential learning. By manipulating each element, your child understands cause and effect relationships and develops their natural curiosity.
One of the main advantages of our handcrafted educational boards is the strengthening of fine motor skills. By pinching, turning and sliding the different components, little ones exercise the small muscles of their hands and fingers. This step is crucial to prepare the child for more complex actions in the future, such as holding a pen or dressing themselves. It's a real brain gym that also stimulates hand-eye coordination.
Because the safety of your children is our priority, every busy board from our collection is handcrafted with meticulous attention. We use high quality wood and non-toxic ecological paints, suitable for young people. Our boards are carefully sanded to provide a soft and pleasant touch. Choosing a handmade product means opting for a durable, eco-responsible and unique toy, far from mass plastic production.
Are you looking for an original birthday gift or a meaningful Christmas gift? Our activity boards captivate children's attention for long periods of time, thus promoting concentration and patience. It is the ideal companion for a moment of calm and independent play, far from screens. Our models fit perfectly into a child's bedroom thanks to their aesthetic and timeless design.
Our activity boards are generally recommended from the age of 12 months, when the child begins to sit alone and explore objects with his hands. However, each child develops at their own pace. Under adult supervision, it is an excellent sensory awareness tool for curious little ones.
Safety and quality are at the heart of our approach. We use sustainable natural wood (often birch plywood or pine) carefully sanded to avoid any splinters. All our accessories are securely attached and we only use non-toxic water-based paints and varnishes, compliant with safety standards for children.

Nothing could be simpler! To preserve the quality of the wood and mechanisms, simply pass a soft, slightly damp cloth on the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the board in water.
Yes, most of our models can be wall mounted (but this requires drilling holes in the board itself and using suitable wall plugs). You can also order the version with support, which will allow you to set up a play corner in any room without having to drill holes. You can find more information about the support and fixing on our blog.
